Quizycal uses Google to sign you in, so there is no password here to choose, forget, or have stolen.
What Google shares with us
We ask Google for openid email profile — the smallest set that lets you have an account. Google shows you this list too, on its own screen, before anything is shared.
- Your Google account IDA number Google uses for your account. It is how we recognise you on your next visit, and it is not your password or anything you can sign in with.
- Your email addressUsed to identify the account, and to reach you about it if we ever need to.
- Your nameShown until you choose a display name in Settings.
- Your profile pictureThe address of the image, not a copy of it.
What we never see
- Your Google password. Google handles the sign-in; we never see what you type there.
- Your Gmail, Drive, Photos, Contacts or Calendar. We ask for none of it, so Google does not offer it.
- Any ability to act as you. We keep no Google access token, so there is nothing for us to use — or for anyone who broke in to steal.
What the account holds
- Your coins, badges and quiz results.
- Your display name and appearance settings, if you set them.
- A session cookie, so you stay signed in for 30 days.
Undoing it
- Download everythingSettings has an export of every record tied to your account.
- Delete the accountAlso in Settings. It removes what identifies you; records the law requires us to keep are anonymised rather than kept in your name.
- Disconnect at GoogleYou can withdraw this access from your Google account at any time, whatever we do.
More detail lives in Help. Not ready? Play without an account — your first result is kept for 30 days, and signing in later claims it.
